What is the AFP?
EBS AFP is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. The objectives of the AFP are to furnish students with enhanced education in academics and citizenship through enrichment programs and programs supporting basic needs, by means of personal participation and financial contributions. The foundation also informs the members concerning all aspects of the AFP programs of the School.
All parents of EBS students are welcome members of the AFP which has no minimum mandatory contribution level.
The funds collected by the AFP stay right here at EBS and all donations are tax-deductible. Based on our budget, the AFP will spend roughly $270 on every student at EBS. All students are included in the AFP funded enrichment programs.

Primetime Update
Last year, the district introduced “Prime Time,” a free after-school program funded by the state of California, but spaces were limited and priority went to English learners, low-income students, and students with disabilities. Only about 50 EBS students participated last year.
This year, the district changed the status to Universal Prime Time for all students, and 270 students signed up. Prime Time is now obligated to accommodate every applicant, which means the program will grow substantially as staff is hired and classrooms are made available. Sloan expects families on the waitlist will be contacted in the coming
weeks, with all placements resolved before December. Some parents have already received email notifications regarding status.
